Jackieology
Jackie’s speciality lies in helping people to move beyond the story they believe is their life. Far-fetched it might sound, but in fact that’s precisely what happens.
Asking my clients how I do it –
‘ intuitively, sensitively, but with a sense of a kick up the backside’
‘I think Jackie is one of the most positive upbeat people I have ever met and she does it all in a way that is not false’.
Great storytellers are sought after in every corner of the globe – just look at the number of books there are or more to the point these days – blogs! Once upon a time, story telling was how early man passed on knowledge to their children and future generations. Cavemen painted their stories for the generations to come.
The frightening majority of us tell stories which are designed to help us cope with what we believe has happened or might happen and bear little resemblance to the real facts. We make things up, we elaborate, we pretend we understand.
We fail to ask questions, we fail to look at the other side, we stop ourselves from being responsible. In our stories we are heroes, we are victims, we are helpless, we are protectors and most often we ‘doth protest too much’.
What does the protesting do for us … it perpetuates the myth and dispels the truth. It creates dis-harmony, dis-ease, dis-belief, and it destroys any hope of forgiveness, willingness, love and communication.
Having told herself many interesting tales over the years it has taken varying tools to help Jackie recognise just what it is that gives us the freedom to be able to be ourselves. The freedom which comes from facing the fear which is creating the fable. The relief which comes from renouncing the need to be right.
What am I good at?
“Keeping things calm. Giving options but not ramming her opinion on what you should do, down your throat”.
;reading people, working out what’s going on, being patient’
The victim can become vulnerable – by choice. The courageous are those with clear conscience. The strong are those with stillness. The peace comes from permission.
Destroying the old story and replacing it with a new one – a bright one, a happy one, full of colour, full of what you want and not what you don’t, is the work Jackie is born to do.
A natural storyteller, she guides you with metaphors, fairytales, songs, and nature until you find what it is that you are looking for while spontaneously letting go of that old chant which no longer works well for you.
Creating red herrings to catch you unawares, using some quiet reflection and incisive questioning, you can be sure that your story will change in front of your eyes as if by magic. Gifted and passionate in her art, it is only a matter of time before you too will be waking up from your slumber to kiss your future – your life as you will it to be.
“someone who brought clarity, a new perspective, incisive suggestions, tough questions, who help up a mirror so I could see myself clearly, and who spoke her truth without fear, always with love and humour and with a view to helping me move on through the most painful times.”

I like this Jackie. I realise that I had you connected with helping people with divorce. Are you still doing that? Joy

Thank you Joy – how lovely of you to leave a comment. Relationship issues are the mainstay of my work – relationships with anything/anybody, including divorce!
